These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ScriptSheet, a professional PDF annotation and script analysis application for macOS and iOS (the "Application"). By downloading, installing, or using ScriptSheet, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ScriptSheet, you confirm that:
You are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
You will use the Application in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use ScriptSheet.
2. License Grant
2.1 Application License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
Download and install ScriptSheet on devices you own or control
Use the Application for your personal or professional purposes
Create, edit, and export PDF documents and annotations
2.2 Restrictions
You may NOT:
Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Application
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application
Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
Use the Application for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Rent, lease, loan, resell, or distribute the Application
Use the Application to process documents you don't have the right to use
3. Subscription Plans and Pricing
ScriptSheet offers the following subscription tiers:
3.1 Free Trial
21 days of Pro features included with first launch
No credit card required
Automatic conversion to free tier after trial ends (if no purchase made)
3.2 Standard Plan (One-Time Purchase)
Price: $19.99 USD (one-time payment)
Includes:
All annotation tools (highlight, underline, strikethrough)
CSV export functionality
Note management
BONUS: 30 days of Pro features FREE
Duration: Lifetime access to Standard features
3.3 Pro Monthly Subscription
Price: $7.99 USD per month
Billing: Charged monthly on a recurring basis
Includes:
All Standard features
Additional Script analysis (scene headings, scene numbers, metadata detection)
Advanced exports (XLSX, PDF with custom formatting)
Cancellation: Cancel anytime; access continues until end of billing period
3.4 Pro Yearly Subscription
Price: $49.99 USD per year (equivalent to $4.17/month)
Billing: Charged annually on a recurring basis
Includes:
All Standard features
Additional Script analysis (scene headings, scene numbers, metadata detection)
Advanced exports (XLSX, PDF with custom formatting)
Cancellation: Cancel anytime; access continues until end of billing period
3.5 Pricing Notes
All prices are in USD and may vary by region due to currency conversion and local taxes
Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice for existing subscribers
Subscription renewals are charged at the then-current price
4. Payment and Billing
4.1 Payment Processing
All payments are processed through Apple's App Store
Payment methods are managed through your Apple ID account
We do not store or have access to your payment information
4.2 Automatic Renewal
Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
You will be charged within 24 hours before the end of your current period
Your subscription automatically renews for the same duration unless you cancel
Cancel your subscription anytime through your Apple ID account settings
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
No refunds for partial periods (except as required by law)

New users receive 21 days of Pro features free
No payment method required during trial
Trial ends automatically with no charges
Standard Plan purchasers receive an additional 30 days of Pro features free
5. Refunds and Returns
5.1 Apple's Refund Policy
All purchases are subject to Apple's refund policy
Generally, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase
Request refunds through Apple's App Store support
5.2 Our Refund Policy
We honor all refund requests processed by Apple
Contact us at support@fxtrak.com for refund assistance
We cannot process refunds directly; all refunds go through Apple
5.3 Downgrading
You may cancel Pro subscriptions and continue with Standard features (if purchased)
You may not downgrade from Pro to Standard mid-billing period
Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period
6. User Content and Data
6.1 Your Data Ownership
You retain all ownership rights to documents and annotations you create
ScriptSheet does not claim any ownership of your content
Your data belongs to you
6.2 Data Storage and Privacy
ScriptSheet operates primarily offline with local storage
Documents are stored on your device or in your personal iCloud (if enabled)
We do NOT collect, store, or transmit your personal data

6.3 Data Backup
You are responsible for backing up your documents and data
We recommend using iCloud, Time Machine, or other backup solutions
We are not liable for any data loss
6.4 iCloud Sync (Optional)
iCloud document sync is optional and user-controlled
When enabled, documents sync through Apple's infrastructure
iCloud usage is subject to Apple's terms and your iCloud storage limits
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Rights
ScriptSheet and all related trademarks, logos, and service marks are our property
The Application's code, design, and content are protected by copyright
All rights not expressly granted are reserved
7.2 Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas, we may use them freely
You grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to implement your feedback
No compensation will be provided for feedback
8.Third-Party Services
8.1 Apple Services
ScriptSheet integrates with Apple's native technologies:
PDFKit: For PDF rendering and annotation
StoreKit: For in-app purchases
iCloud: For optional document sync
Your use of these services is subject to Apple
8.2 No Other Third Parties
We do not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services
We do not share your data with any third parties
9. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use ScriptSheet to:
Process documents you don't have legal rights to access or modify
Violate any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights
Circumvent or disable any security features
Create annotations containing illegal, harmful, or offensive content
Use the Application for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
10. Updates and Modifications
10.1 Application Updates
We may release updates, bug fixes, and new features
Updates may be required for continued use
You are responsible for maintaining compatible devices and OS versions
10.2 Terms Updates
We may modify these Terms at any time
Material changes will be notified through the Application or website
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
We will provide 30 days notice for changes affecting subscriptions
11. Termination
11.1 Your Right to Terminate
You may stop using ScriptSheet at any time
Delete the Application to terminate your license
Cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings
11.2 Our Right to Terminate
We may terminate your access if you:
Violate these Terms
Use the Application for illegal purposes
Attempt to harm or exploit our systems
11.3 Effect of Termination
You must delete all copies of the Application
Termination does not entitle you to refunds (except as required by law)
Your documents remain your propertyCancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings
12. Disclaimers and Warranties
12.1 "AS IS" Provision
ScriptSheet is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
Warranties of merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
Uninterrupted or error-free operation
12.2 No Guarantee
We do not guarantee that:
ScriptSheet will meet your specific requirements
The Application will be error-free or secure
Any errors will be corrected
Results from using ScriptSheet will be accurate or reliable
12.3 PDF Compatibility
While we strive for broad PDF compatibility, we cannot guarantee support for all PDF formats
Some PDF features may not be supported
Third-party PDF annotations may not be fully compatible
13. Limitation of Liability
13.1 Limitation of Damages
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall NOT be liable for:
Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
Business interruption
Cost of substitute products or services
13.2 Maximum Liability
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of ScriptSheet shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.
13.3 Limitation of Damages
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on certain warranties or liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
Your use or misuse of ScriptSheet
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights
Documents or content you process through ScriptSheet
15. Dispute Resolution
15.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us at support@fxtrak.com to seek an informal resolution.
15.2 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
15.3 Arbitration (Where Applicable)
For disputes exceeding $10,000, either party may require binding arbitration
Small claims court remains available for qualifying disputes
Class action lawsuits are waived where legally permissible
15.4 Apple's Role
Apple is not a party to these Terms
Apple has no obligation to provide support for ScriptSheet
You agree that Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms
16. General Provisions
16.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding ScriptSheet.
16.2 Severability
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
16.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
16.4 Assignment
You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms to any successor or acquirer.
16.5 Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, wars, pandemics, etc.).

17.1 macOS Requirements
Requires macOS 15.0 or later
Some features may require specific hardware capabilities
17.2 iOS Requirements
Requires iOS 17.0 or later
Compatible with iPad and iPhone
17.3 Apple App Store
Your use is also subject to Apple's App Store Terms of Service
Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) applies

19. Acknowledgment
BY USING SCRIPTSHEET, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE, UNDERSTAND THEM, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEM. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE SCRIPTSHEET.
